## Mentoring Project
The **Mentoring Project** is an initiative designed to connect game development clubs and indie teams with leading seniors in the game industry across Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. This project offers young creators the unique opportunity to work directly with experts on a specific game product. Through this program, GameGeek aims to help participating teams sharpen their mindset and enhance their creativity throughout the game development process.
### Tentative Timeline:
- **Registration Deadline:** September 10, 2023
- **Beta Version Completion:** 1 - 1.5 months
- **Official Version Completion:** 2 - 3 months
### For Participating Teams/Individuals:
Each team will work under the direct guidance of **one Game Design Mentor** and **one Game Developer Mentor**. Mentors will proactively schedule suitable working sessions with their assigned teams. All information regarding the team's product will be kept strictly confidential by the Mentors. Participating teams will also have the opportunity to pitch their final products during the program's closing offline event.
### Rules for Participants:
- **Team Size:** No limit on the number of members. Teams are encouraged to balance their project scope with an appropriate headshot.
- **Team Composition:** It is not mandatory for a team to have all specialized roles.
- **Product Ownership:** The final product remains the full property of the team.
- **Individual Registration:** Individuals may sign up solo. For those wishing to join a group, the Organizing Committee will assist in team matching to ensure production quality.
- **Flexibility:** Teams may change their intended project topic after the project starts or upon receiving consultation from their mentors.
### For Mentors:
By joining the program, Mentors can enhance their training, management, and product implementation skills while guiding their teams. Additionally, GameGeek will organize exclusive talk shows featuring the mentor lineup and other industry experts to further foster professional development.
