Games Nexus, an exciting collaboration between BUV GamePAD and GamesGeek Asia, is set to unfold on the BUV Campus, November 17th, from 13:30 to 16:30. This inaugural event aims to foster connections within the games development community in Hanoi and showcase the talents of students from the School of Computing and Innovative Technologies.
The event anticipates the participation of around 25 games studios and around 100 games professionals and students, creating an ideal platform for industry experts to engage with our students and build connections within the industry. The schedule has been thoughtfully crafted to facilitate meaningful interactions, with a focus on hands-on experiences and insightful discussions.
Students at BUV GamePAD are diligently preparing an array of games and portfolio pieces for industry professionals to explore. The student hub will serve as a dynamic showcase, featuring not only games but also videos and posters exemplifying various aspects of games development. Attendees can look forward to two panel discussions—one led by studio HR executives, delving into careers in games, and the other exploring the challenges and processes of establishing an indie startup studio in Vietnam.
